Performance Requirements

The Coachmen have very few specific performance requirements relative to venues and related operations. However, below are the group’s common requirements:
• At minimum, a 16X12 ft. performance area, or at least enough room for 4 individuals to perform comfortably with 4-6 ft. extra space behind on-stage equipment.
• At least 2 electrical outlets at or readily near the performance area.
• Entry to the venue at least 2 hours prior to performance for setup and sound checks.
• Provided with an on-site or a readily accessible contact at the venue during the 2 hours preceding the performance.
• Room for parking a 24 ft. recreational vehicle connected to a 8 ft. trailer within a short walking distance of the venue.
• To be notified of any unique performance requirements at least one week prior to performance (i.e., song requests, special arrangement of a service, etc.).
• To be notified of anything specific to do or not do during the performance at least one week prior to performance (e.g., gospel music only, no comedy, etc.)
• To be notified of any changes to the original agreed-upon length of performance at least one week prior to the performance.
For venues that will be providing sound for The Coachmen:
• 4 vocal microphones (John Lane vocal should slightly exceed other vocals in terms of the set channel volume, and Bob Campbell’s microphone should be provided with higher low-end / bass frequencies than the others).
• Ability to connect a digital keyboard and an acoustic guitar to the house system via ¼ inch or XLR cable (Coachmen can provide direct boxes).
• 4 on-stage monitors set with a mix as represented by the house sound, including keyboard and acoustic guitar in the mix.
